Written by the original owner of the Pepperidge Farm bread and cookie brand, Margaret Rudkin built an empire out of whole wheat bread; became the first woman to serve on the Campbell Soup Company's Board of Directors, and authored the first cookbook to become a national bestseller. The Margaret Rudkin Pepperidge Farm Cookbook is one of those cookbooks that has stood the test of time. It's pragmatic, enjoyable to read, and the illustrations are whimsical. The final section of the book is an interesting read, where the author revises ancient recipes with modern equivalents.

Condition: Very good, some edge marking and minimal spotting on inside boards from use. Dust jacket is in excellent condition for its age. Text is clean and bright, no marking no inscriptions.
